Mørketid

Today was the first day of Mørketid (=dark time). The photo was taken on November 18, 2009, just before noon, and 3 days before mørketid, the time when the sun does not rise above the horizon. This will last for 2 months, on January 21 the sun will begin to rise again.

Absolutely wonderful to get a glimpse of you. And, delighted that you are joining the world of blogging. Niels speaks of you so fondly and with so much love that I feel as if you are a gift to us all.

I like your umbrella skirt! You can be an overalls person at heart without wearing theme.

PS. I love the picture of the sun almost rising. The neighborhood kids are thrilled to learn a little about your guys in the real north. Please keep up the good work.
